Alonso Denies Talking With Ferrari

Fernando Alonso said that the rumors that he has signed a contract to race for Ferrari in 2010 are unfounded and not true. Many people believed the rumors because Kimi Raikkonen stated that he might be leaving F1 at the end of 2009. Ferrari needs to find a new star driver and quick.

Richard Lee Petty was born on July 2nd, 1937 in his hometown Level Cross, North Carolina. He became a NASCAR legend and racing champion and is well known for his achievements. He has become a well known and renowned former driver for the NASCAR Winston Cup Series and has won the NASCAR Championship seven times. The only other person to accomplish this has been Dale Earnhardt.

Rafael Sperafico Dies In Fatal Crash

26 year old Rafael Sperafico – the Brazilian stock car racer – was killed in the middle of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix during a fatal crash. Apparently he lost control of his vehicle during his sixth lap, slammed into the tire wall, and bounced back onto the track. At that point his car was then struck by the car driven by Rentao Russo, who was in serious but stable condition with head injuries.

Dale Earnhardt has had a very bad and troubling year. He was unable to win any race and has admittied that this is his second worst season of his career. But that doesn’t mean that he still won’t be walking away without an award.

Gil De Ferran Leaves Honda Formula One

Gil De Ferran, a former Indy 500 winner, has decided to leave the Honda Formula One team. He was the sporting director for the team for quite a few years. De Ferran, 39, who also twice won the U.S. CART series with Penske Honda, said in a team statement on Monday that his role had not turned out as he had hoped.

Dale Earnhardt is known for his excellent driving skills, which he used to win many races in his time. He acquired the nickname “the Intimidator” for his obsession with winning by any means necessary. He took 76 checkered flags, sixth-most in Winston Cup history. It was an obsession that earned him more money than any driver in Winston Cup history (over $41 million) and tied him for the most titles in Winston Cup history (7, tied with Richard Petty).
